Enjoy a pint of our Salted Peanut Butter Stracciatella. Think peanut butter cup. But a really good, fresh one. We start with peanuts, roast them, and then grind them into a paste the same day we make the gelato to avoid oxidation. We add salt to make it salty, but not crazy salty. It brings out the peanut flavor better. When we extract the gelato from our machines, we hand lay melted stracciatella chocolate at three different levels. Stracciatella chocolate is a special mix we make by hand, in house, of Belgian dark chocolate and cocoa butter so that it hardens when it hits the frozen gelato to provide a dark chocolate flavor and a bit of a crunch.
